October Favourites, Jewels, Travel and Beauty

Travel through York

When thinking about October, a few things come to mind. Autumn, pumpkins and of course Halloween.

I love two big things about October too; one, that it’s half term, (so holidays) and secondly, my Anniversary, which conveniently falls at that time too. So a special month for me, my Anniversary is my main October favourite, even if marriage is same ol same ol, LOL. 18 years is a very long time.

I enjoyed lots of days out and a little travel trip – which of course was fully needed. She says with a sigh. Will post a few pictures here, but I will predominately cover this on a further travel post. So keep a look out for that. 🙂

I like to treat myself to some lovely outings and goodies. Being a beauty and jewellery enthusiast I wanted to speak about my favourites in these areas, and of course a treat.

I’ll start with jewellery and my favourite has to be these two earrings from Daisy Jewellery. Daisy Jewellery is a range by Estée Lalonde. If you don’t know who Estée Lalonde is, then where have you been? She is a Canadian YouTuber and ever so nice, down to earth and funny. I really like her sense of humour and of course her style.

I love to curate my ear, as I have a few piercings and the perfect choice has to be a huggie earrings, or mini hoops. The Daisy Collection has the perfect earrings for a fabulous curated ear that is to die for. If you’re like me, then you will also love Estée’s jewellery, I am sure of it.

These earrings are so lush. I have already wore them in the shower (better not to) and have seen no difference to the colour or gold. The quality is superb; 18ct Gold Plate and I am here for it.  Also, they came in a pouch, a lovely gift box and with some wonderful stationary. Brownie points for presentation.

You can see them in situ (above) I promise my hair isn’t greasy, just wet.

On to my beauty favourites. I have started really looking after my skin. I am in my mid-forties and blessed, but only now I feel that I better look after my ageing skin. My main focus is the under eye, so appreciate a good eye cream to combat dark circles, as well as lines and wrinkles. I have found the vitamin C eye cream and now the retinol eye cream from Murad as a favourite. I also love the daily moisturise with SPF and the triple exfoliating facial from the same Murad Vitamin C range.

I also love the Huda Beauty Pastels palette, which is very pigmented and has some gorgeous colours. I have an Instagram Reel with a look, using this palette, so do have a look.

Have you any favourites from the picture above? Do please share your October favourites too!!!

Disclaimer- the earrings were gifted but all my opinions are my own.
