Best Of Beauty and favourites 2021

Best of Beauty 2021

This year has been a hard one for me and especially my mum. Please keep us in your prayers that 2022 will be a good one with lots of health. Ameen. (Amen). So my family has been a firm favourite, as we can’t be without them.

So on to the Beauty favourites and best products I have liked for 2021.

Let’s start with the base. I have been using the Paula’s Choice exfoliant to first exfoliate my face. This has been a saviour for my skin and minimising my pores. This has been an important step, as in the past when adding foundation, I always thought that my base was cakey and it was just that I didn’t look after my skin.

I use the Charlotte Tilbury magic cream, I have a mini version. Then I go in with the Glossier future dew for a dewy texture. My favourite all time foundation this year was the Teint Idole foundation (048), but I also have recently discovered the Armani Luminous Silk foundation in 6.25.

For Concealers, I still use the Elf one and Tarte. But, I have a new favourite which is the Hourglass Vanish mini in the colour Dune. (I am a fan of Mini’s).

Sometimes I don’t wear blusher, but I have a fond likeness for the Organism blush. The highlighter which I have to wear is the Tilbury magic wand.

For lips, I like to start with a good lip oil – the Clarins lip oil, which is gorgeous just worn on it’s own. I like to wear a nude lip so the mini Mac Velvet Teddy is a must. The lip liner I love is from Estee Lauder, Double Wear in 04 Rose and this can be worn on it’s own and looks fab! Another firm favourite lip liner is of course Mac’s Soar.

For the eyes, I have been using a lash serum all year. It is a growth serum and very good indeed. It’s the Revitalash advanced serum for lashes and makes then grow over time. The Mascara isn’t that important, as there are many I like, so these are Idole one and the Nars Climax mascara. The best eyeshadow/eyeliner has to be a shadow stick. It’s the Laura Mercier caviar stick in Cocoa – a firm favourite of Mario Dedivanovic. This stick not only creates the perfect smokey eye but also doubles as a liner for under the eye, waterline or on the lop end lashline. Perfect!

What are your beauty favourites for 2021? Let me know in the comments below and any that you like or agree with!

I’m going to be a little cheeky and add a few favourite shots/pictures from this year.

Pictures are from Eid, Anniversary and my mum 🙂

Looking forward to seeing your comments and other 2021 favourites!

  4. I have very sensitive skin so have to be careful with new makeup. I may have a look at the lash serum as my lashes aren’t as long as they used to be

The Armani luminous silk foundation is lovely. To be honest I’ve not worn makeup enough to have favourites there, but I’ve been loving pretty much everything from Elemis especially their marine cleanser x

I have never used a serum on my skin, but I keep hearing people raving about them. Maybe this year I should try one.
