Miller Harris was the brainchild of founder Lyn Harris who was interested in perfumes and travelled to Paris to pursue her passion for fragrance and spent five years training. Making her story very inspirational!
15 years after its creation, Miller Harris continues its collaboration with Robertet, using the finest quality raw materials, to create a unique and personal journey for each and every wearer. They pride themselves to match people with their fragrance rather than create one perfume for all.
They have stores in Bruton Street, Covent Garden and can also be found in Harrods.
April sees an exciting launch from Miller Harris of their brand new fragrance called Vetiver Insolent; a spicy fragrance with Vetiver at its heart. Vetiver (derived from Haiti) brings with it a scent full of sweet, fresh earthiness. With notes of bergamot and cardamom, as well as energising black pepper, elemi and a hint of lavender. 100ml retails at £95 while the 50ml at £65.
The great thing about a Miller Harris scent is that it can be applied by both Men and Women and that they also smell different depending on your own skin type. I especially liked how Vetiver Insolent smelled on my husband.
I had a lovely evening at their Bruton Street store sniffing their beautiful fragrances and having a browse at their glorious range of products from perfume to candles. I must say I was more a fan of their candles which smelled devine! I particularly loved their more Eastern and Moroccan scents.
The perfume is very strong, so you can smell it on the skin throughout the day which is what I prefer. If you are going to spend so much, surely you want it to last! An extra touch was given to the glorious bottle by the addition of an engraving of my name which made the perfume even more special.
You can also join Miller Harris in the grounds of Covent Garden market with the colourful Designer and Illustrator Matty Bovan who will be creating a live illustration from the 7-10th April. Plus receive 20% discount and a gift with purchase. This event is not to be missed!
