Christmas Gift Guide 2016

Afshanesque Christmas Gift

Well it’s that time of year when you need to gift buy. So here is a guide on what might be of interest or perfect as a gift for her.

Who wouldn’t want these gifts on their wish list? –  That’s why I can recommend them.

Firstly, Christmas isn’t the same without a bit of Bublé, so what better gift then from the man himself! Bublé has recently launched his scent and there is no better gift then of a scent that will really be loved! A scent can evoke great memories and make one feel good. The Michael Bublé scent is By Invitation, which has top notes of red fruits and bergamot, then developing into notes of lily of the valley, rose, jasmine and peony.

ByInvitation

The Bublé gift set retails from £55 for 100ml and comes with a free body lotion worth £14. You can get this here. The bottle is divinely shaped and smells sweet and lovely! This would make a gift that any women would love.

Thirdly, Red Letter Days offer perfect gifts for Christmas with their range of gift vouchers and experiences. The flexible gift cards include 100’s of different activities from afternoon tea, a day at a spa, driving a Ferrari, indoor skydiving and more. Perfect to buy for someone who loves adventure or something a bit different – guaranteed to blow their socks off.

Skidiving with Red Letter Days

‘You could win a naughty or nice prize with Red Letter Days’ Christmas quiz – which one are you’?

Who doesn’t like a good candle this time of year and what better place to get it than Jo Malone. They have a lovely range of gifts, from candles, fragrances, to creams. For someone to receive a Christmas gift from Jo Malone would make anyone’s day!

Jo Malone Candles

These candles are just dreamy, with five scents to choose from –

  • Pomegranate Noir Mini Candle 35g
  • Peony and Blush Suede Mini Candle 35g
  • Green Tomato Leaf Mini Candle 35g
  • Sweet Almond and Macaroon Mini Candle 35g
  • Frosted Cherry and Clove Mini Candle 35g

This is more expensive at £66, but worth it!

They have a great Christmas ornament of a fragrance; Peony & Blush Suede Cologne and a refreshing Grapefruit Body Crème. The cologne is 9 ml and the creme 15 ml, so is affordable.  If you would like to try the brand, you can sample or enjoy this popular fragrance without breaking the bank. I am rather tempted with buying it myself.

Jo Malone Christmas Ornament

They also have a Christmas cracker, making a good gift as a stocking filler. This lovely cracker includes, a Basil & Neroli Cologne, Blackberry & Bay Body & Hand Wash, and the addictive Mimosa & Cardamom Body Crème. At £33 this is also a delightful gift.

Here are their gifts for her, that is if you want to browse what else is on offer. Also, you can buy these in store too. The Richmond branch of Jo Malone has lots of the above available.

Another gorgeous gift for those who love makeup and also like a bit of glam and glitz is this Marc Jacobs ‘Object Of Desire’ Makeup Gift Set. This is the perfect gift that is multi-purpose and that you can use as a purse or clutch afterwards. No need to explain, as the image below does all the talking!

The gift set costs £55 and can be bought at John Lewis. There is also a pink version that has a choice of lipsticks.

Lastly, an alternative gift or gifts can be found at The Bradford Exchange that I would also like to recommend. You can get some lovely gifts, like the Disney Tree, the TK Snow Globe Tree or Infinite Love Ring, which can be personalised for free and my favourite the Munsters Clock (nostalgia). The Bradford ExchangeI hope you like my gift guide. What is on your wish list?
