I love to rustle up a great enjoyable meal in the kitchen and if it is a really easy one after a hard days work, than all the better!
I love a quick meal done in minutes and one that tastes amazing is ideal!
So on that note – spice up your life a little this winter with a heart and stomach warming paprika noodles!
Fancy a bit of spice, but can’t take too much heat? Then I have the perfect recipe for you:
Quick Paprika Noodles & Stir Fry
What you need:
Schwartz Smoked Paprika – from Tesco
Salt to taste
Olive Oil
Chicken – of course the main ingredient (or you can just use vegetable stir fry, if vegetarian)
Udon Noodles
Vegetable Stir Fry
Soya Sauce
A bit of lemon
Instructions:
Start with a few tablespoons of olive oil in a wok, then add the chicken and brown on medium heat.
Once brown, add plenty of sprinkles of Schwartz parika (maybe if you want to measure it, then perhaps a teaspoon of).
Add salt and lemon to taste and finally some soy sauce, but this is if you want to, as the paprika has a lovely smoked flavour that adds a fantastic aroma and taste.
Once all those ingredients have gone in, put the chicken on low heat and cook until chicken is fully cooked and tender.
Once the chicken is soft and cooked, put on a lightly high heat so the oil comes out and the sauce can be absorbed into the chicken.
Add the noodles and stir fry into the chicken until noodles are fully cooked and the flavours of the paprika sauce also mesh in with the chicken.
Finally add the vegetables and cook all till the veg is tender.
Viola – Serve hot on the plate and saviour the taste of rich and tasty paprika chicken noodles!
I opted for the udon noodles, as they were more appealing to me and I wanted to taste a more nourishing meal and they were ideal for absorbing the lovely flavours of the paprika.
You can get the flavoursome Schwartz smoked paprika from Tesco which I love and for the awesome price of just £1.60!
